There are few more spectacular things to view on this planet than watching a humpback whale breach from the ocean. Each year from around January through April, humpback whales migrate through the area around Turks and Caicos.
The best place to see the humpbacks is near Salt Cay. Boats are available for private rental to take out to where the whales are most often spotted. Whale watching tours may also be booked. These often provide a better whale watching experience.
Deep Sea Fishing
There are a multitude of fishing opportunities on Turks and Caicos. Boats are easily rented with guides who will take you to the spot where the fishing is the best. Some of the most well known sports fish gather just outside of the barrier reef where the water is deep and sea life is abundant.

Conch Bar Caves is located on Middle Caicos Island. This limestone cave complex features some impressive features. Tours of the cave complex are available and should be booked in advance.

The Turks and Caicos National Museum on Grand Turk Island is the place to go to find out what has happened during the course of the island’s history.
